I too am tired of all the political posts and what not.. KONY 2012..Please, you will forget all about that in 1 month and have done nothing to support it other than posting that as your status.
I even created a group on FB about not using FB to push your own personal agenda. This was my group description.

Posting that crap is about as effective as chain mail and no one cares. Besides, the groups wall gets trolled in a matter of minutes and ruins the group anyway. You don't change any ones mind, only reaffirm their beliefs.
The only reason people have Facebook is to stay in touch with 10% of their friends, and see if the other 90% get fat. Go join something that can actual make a difference in life, like a water aerobics class.

I then added most of my firends to it and tried to get them to spread my agenda... I get bored easily.
I also dont get the all the baby status updates... especially when it has to do with cervix diameter, or the baby sucking on your ****. I don't want to know how gaping your vagina is, or that you're excited the baby finally latched on and you no longer have to pump... Save that news for the one or two people close to the situation.

Helpful: letting everyone know you can't be reached by phone because you dropped it in a toilet or it fell off a cliff or whatever. Cool, we'll know to hit you via email instead. Not helpful: asking that everyone send you their phone numbers because you lost your phone and can't be bothered to actually ask us personally. Losing your phone is actually a great excuse to rebuild your phone book with people you truly care about! If you can't remember who to ask, odds are you don't need to be calling or texting those people anymore
I do this about once or twice a year. Its a good way to get girls phone numbers. If they take the time to send it to you they prob want you to use it.
I always get the four or five posts from ex g/fs that say good now you can stop calling me at 3am.
I actually saw a nice picture caption to respond to that comment. It was like, "You want to know where all the good guys are? They are in the friend zone where you left them." I have wanted to post that so many times when one of those shallow girls post something like that. Yeah, stupid girl, the guy known for sleeping around used you, get over it. But I'm not jaded or anything.
This is another good one. Blocked a pretty good friend a few months ago because all she talked about was cross fit, running marathons and paleo diet. Couldn't take it anymore.

Posts about ordinary illness and injury that have befallen the person or someone in their family. Mark Zuckerberg didn't steal facebook so you could share with us that your kid took a green poop or that you stubbed your pinkie toe on the credenza.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but I hate when people have stupid conversations with inanimate objects. "Jeez Monday, you and I are NOT on good terms right now!". Seems really dumb to me.

After reading most of the thread I can tell no one here would like me as I've violated several of the especially the worst day ever stuff. It feels good to vent that way and that's better than taking my anger and frustrations on someone or something else.
