Peter Jok

That may be true, but I don't think that Fred for Fran will want anyone in their style of offense that plays tentatively. He may be better suited for Gmac's slow style of play.

Iowa State averaged 0.6 more possessions per game last season than Creighton.

This. Creighton was also top ten in the country in points per game last year. They don't play slow.

I think this is the reality Jok will face unless he can really step his game up and be consistent over the next month. A lot of people are taking a wait and see approach, to see if he can shed the rust and stop playing tentatively.

Shouldn't you be trying to find a running back for your football team?

Hey Jon you get tired of the retards over there or what?

Rumor has it he tweeted this last night....
"The NBA wants Peter Jok, the NBA needs Peter Jok."

Take it for what its worth.

Very smooth but still has Glenn Worley athleticism. Needs to get healthy. At worst he's got deep shooting range.

To me Jok makes perfect sense to pick up in a huge recruiting class. When he was a freshman (maybe also sophomore?) he was making huge waves. If it's true that he's still not 100%, then there's hope he'll return to form. Taking him in a large class puts less pressure on him to perform out of the gate, and opens the possibility of a redshirt year to get used to college contact on the scout team, fully heal, and help even the class scholarships.

Was it just me or did it look like he was playing against an 8th grade team?

I agree that he could be a good pick up with a large upside in a big class. We have 4 more spots. You assume we'll go after a wing, and 2 bigs. If we feel good with those positions, I think Jok gets the last spot given his ability to shoot and upside potential if he re-gains his athleticism as his knee gets stronger.
