Thought Gibson played a great game, and should have gotten some of Booker and Ejims minutes....Booker and Ejim missed some bunnies and were scared to go up with it, Gibson took it straight at Davis and was not scared.

Like what he can do in the future.

Also 3 for 22 on threes?

Gibson is going to be a great player. He went toe to toe with the the best bigs in the country tonight. Ejim and Booker didnt play all that bad either.

Love me some Gibson! So smooth down low. Love when he took that loose ball from the UK player on the ground and made a quick layup. I laughed out loud on that. Taking his cookies!

Percy will see more time next year for sure. He will be a more developed defender as a sophomore as well.

Gibson has nice touch around the basket, but will need to improve his defense to be a force and get the playing time. I think he will do just that and be a great Cyclone. Ejim plays hard and makes some great plays. May not be the most skilled guy, but makes up for it with effort. Booker made some nice contributions this year, good luck to him in the future. I like the future of the ISU Front court.

If someone discussed it, I missed it, but did Gibson play against Davis a lot in AAU ball the last few years of high school? He did not act intimidated at all.

I think if Percy can gain some quickness and strength in the offseason and work on his defense he will be a geat player for us next year! Has a great touch around the hoop and has yet to look like he's star struck when on the court which is very impressive out of a Freshmen that doesn't put in many minutes.

He had one truly horrendous turnover in there, but otherwise I agree.

Ejim kind of reverted back to his early or mid season form. Gibson finds a way to finish.

Percy is going to be fun to watch over the next three years. A little unorthodox at times, but he finds a way to put the ball in the hole.

A front line of Georges and Percy is going to be really tough in a couple years.

WHen he learns to play defense he will play more. Nice offensive set. Needs some work on the defensive end.

Gibson has the most amazing hands/ touch on the ball. He throws the ball at the backboard in some of the most unusual ways, and it goes it. He catches in the post better (deeper) than any of our other guys, and he puts it up in traffic and it rolls through. I just shake my head when he swings it up from his hip, shot puts it off his shoulder, finger rolls it, baby-hooks it. etc. etc. etc.

Gibson has a bright future at ISU. If he works hard in the offseason I think he can be that first big man off the bench and play meaningful minutes then possibly slide into the starting lineup and be a force in the paint once Royce is gone. Percy brings a lot of energy and has a nice touch around the basket, just needs to work a little more on his rebounding technique and defense

I would bet Percy "Motown" Gibson has more points per minute of playing time than anybody on the team. Pretty crazy for a true freshman.
