Gibson has the most amazing hands/ touch on the ball. He throws the ball at the backboard in some of the most unusual ways, and it goes it. He catches in the post better (deeper) than any of our other guys, and he puts it up in traffic and it rolls through. I just shake my head when he swings it up from his hip, shot puts it off his shoulder, finger rolls it, baby-hooks it. etc. etc. etc.

Kenny Pratt reincarnated. Except Percy has a legit post body.

i loved that when Captain Unibrow tried to back him down he just stood straight up and didn't budge, if he can do that against the likely NPOY like he did tonight he should see big minutes and big points next year, him and niang in the post together should give other teams nightmares about their offensive talent. if royce comes back those 2 should get 20 mins at least and average at least 8 ppg on the low end, percy could easily get double digits and have a decent number of boards, i know pass th kool-aide on to the next 'clone

Gibson reminds me of faster down the court Victor Alexander. Baby soft hands and you can count on 2 points every time he catches the ball.

I'd say that Gibson is our best pure post offensively. His back to the basket game is really polished. The next step for him is putting on a bit more muscle and developing a face up game. He's got the potential to be really good.

WHen he learns to play defense he will play more. Nice offensive set. Needs some work on the defensive end.

My thoughts exactly. While it is awesome that he hits nearly every shot he takes, it doesn't do us much good if we can't stop them on the other end. If I remember correctly, he was in the game for both of Kentucky's runs in the first half and looked completely lost when playing D.
