*** THE OFFICIAL MICHIGAN VS. ISU GAMEDAY THREAD ***

Great guys, play hard down 20 with 3 minutes to go. This team just does not play hard the whole game.

Does anyone really know if Lutz did most of the actual coaching last year or are we just assuming this based on what we're seeing this year? My hope is that we are missing DG not just for his PG skills but also because he was an effective slasher which is something we don't have this year. Clyburn will fill that role nicely and with Royce and more options at PG hopefully we won't be questioning the coaching as much next year.

Lutz did everything from game prep to running practice to in-game coaching. Lutz ran practice, Fred worked on individual skill development like how the football staff kind of works. Coaches have their expertise, Rhoads oversees everything.

I've thought that Scottie at point was a bad idea all year. Every point guard out there is one step faster, and he doesn't handle the ball particularly well. Not bad, but not exceptional.

Allen must be having problems with the offensively plays, if he can't take that position. Sledge also, same explanation. Bubu runs well at PG, but he's been with the starters for a year, too.

I think this team dynamic is fairly evident at this point-- Royce is special, everyone else is average.
