Bsteg put memo on Delaneys secretaries desk that says the big ten has traded Iowa to the big Xii for Iowa state and she needs to inform ADs and fire a memo to espn and to sign my, Delaneys, name to it.

Rivals.com College Football - Superconferences: Which 64 teams belong?

Rivals "experts" stating their 64 teams for the BCS conferences. ISU not included on any of them...

There first problem is with the title. "Which 64 Teams Belong?" I know they are already in teh B1G, but does Indiana really "Belong" more than any other team being left out. When we are talking football here.

I am almost to a point that I am so sick of the greed that is driving this, that I am about ready to give up completely on college football. Weather or not ISU is in an AQ. I'll always be an ISU fan and support them, but spending my Saturdays engrossed in all the games seems more and more like a thing of the past for me. We are plenty good as almost half those teams on the list, barring TV sets. I know that's what's driving this, but it would be nice to see some media members stand up and say, "Hey, you know what This school belongs because they've been there since the beginning and they bring more than TV sets to the table. No one does that though.

This would be off-topic in any other thread, but it'll fit here.

I played an NCAA 2005 dynasty as Army. Went undefeated one year, still didn't make the title game. Finished 2nd to a one-loss LSU, a team that I had beaten head-to-head down at LSU.

I was ticked off thinking that was as far as I could go when a message appeared on the screen that the Big Ten was expelling Indiana and inviting me to join. The choice was clear, and I owned the Big Ten from that day on.

OK, cool story, bro.

I regularly drive by their downtown office on Chicago Ave. and see the sign outside the building. Between us I'm sure we'll get the invite.
Several of them rent rooms at my place on W. Hawthorne Street in Arlington Heights. Pay top dollar. Signed, CyKindaTown

If this thing goes to 4 16 team conferences, it is awful for college football. If this was done 5-10 years ago, there would be no Boise, tcu, Utah, uconn, wake, rutgers, Kansas, or many other teams that have put things together for their "Cinderella" run to a major bowl.

We could beat vandy, Kentucky, minny, indiana, Illinois, purdue, and many in the PAC 12 to just name a few, on a regular basis with what CPR has started.

In the end I hope and believe we will be in the big XII in some form.

Maybe they should have a play-off to see who makes it into the 4 16 team leagues.

A fight to the virtual death of your athletic department--losers go to the WAC/MAC. I like it. I bet ESPN, as the producers of LeBron's selection show, would definitely want a piece of this action.

If they take a couple Big 12 members with them like some of the rumors out there, it would be a very good fit for Texas. They would be the football king of the conference and have their best shot at BCS and they wouldn't have to play in the cold weather that the Big 10 offers.

Then why not stay in the B12? They are kings of the conference? Can have their LHN with no other work to be done....rebuild...stronger faster

Are they even wanted anymore in the Big 12? Maybe OU stays and Texas is voted out?

Vote out? Seriously think about that for a millisecond. Texas is the cash cow here. Like em or hate em it doesn't matter. Tx vs no Tx in your conference is a difference of about 10 million a year.

Possible I suppose. BYU has indicated they'd be in if OU was in, but I don'tknow if UT's participation is important to that or not. I really wonder how we can expect to cross so many burned bridges to keep it all together...

You know what the perception of Texas is right now?

Another day.. and another day with ISU not having jumped to the Big East. Hopefully one of these days it will happen.

Who cares what the perception is. Seriously everyone is butthurt over a university doing what any other university in the Big12 could do. Tell me what they've done that is so atrocious? They have been trying to keep OU here. Seriously someone please list why TX is so bad.
