My transaction through BB was at 6:54am on Sunday. My check status said processing and estimated delivery was null/void...until 2:50pm today when I got an email saying it was ready for delivery. I'd pretty much given up any hope but WOOT there it is! Now I can instill reason #3 why I wanted one. Here kids, have a tablet. Now hands off my iPad!

I was hoping they'd do something like this, but I'm not planning on being quick enough either. I bet they send an email out at 10:30 on a Tuesday morning to say they'll be onsale again in twenty minutes...
 
Meh, most of the time my phone has been sitting on a quiet speakerphone level on my desk while I'm working, so it's been mostly painless. At this point, I can't bring myself to hang up. I just want to know if anyone will ever answer....

Woke up with still no cancellation email, but still have purchase on hold on the CC and a 'shipping soon' status on Amazon still... Guess I'll just keep waiting...


Best Buy is expected to have their next shipments in today, however good luck getting one before the store employees grab the ones they want. I checked the inventory online using the links below, saw 2 stores nearby that had them in-store and now 15 minutes later the 1 store is now out of stock. Stores don't open up for another 2+ hours but somehow they lost stock, wonder how that happens!!!

I ordered through HP SMB, twice on Sunday, one around midnight, then another around 11am. I paid for overnight shipping. The estimated delivery date was originally yesterday, which is why I tried to call them and get it figured out. Then last night it got changed to, delivery date -"will update later" which seems like a terrible sign to me. Now the delivery date is today. Crossing my fingers. I'm not going to attempt to call them again though.
 
I called the Ames Best Buy yesterday and they are expecting to get some more in next week and their truck arrives on Monday afternoon or night....

There is faith
 
I got cancelled on one of the 2 I ordered. The 2nd cancellation should come at any moment.

Not sure if that number dials into a different queue, or if it was just coincidence, but I waited less than 15 minutes on that line this morning and got through, so thank you! The guy told me that if you ordered before 4 am Monday morning, you should be fine. That was the cutoff. Everyone after that will have their order cancelled. I had two orders. Both in my name, but on different cards. The Discover order went through fine, I have a confirmation email, shipping dates, etc. The Mastercard order has to be verified by a person, so it has showed up with an 'unable to process' message. It will stay that way until they call to verify that card. He said yesterday they were verifying orders placed Saturday, and that today they would get to the orders placed Sunday. He said they have been crushed by all the orders and this has been an unprecedented situation that they are trying to work through. Hopefully I get that call today.

Got my cancellation emails as well.. Can't believe it took them that long to figure out who they would have to send cancellations too.

Some Best Buy stores got stock in today, however I don't think I'll be grabbing one anytime soon seeing as I'll be working. Perhaps I'll find one on ebay eventually for a steal of less than $150...
 
Yeah I think my cutoff for price for one of these would be $160 - that includes both models. More than that and I may as well buy an Android tablet.

That's kinda where i'm at. Was willing to go $150 for the 32gig version, but more than $200 and i might as well step up to an asus transformer or acer iconia.
 
I'll give it two weeks and these people will be trying to sell them for face value. There was a guy on ebay who had sold 45 in like 30 mins, BUT it says under the item description "pending shipment from onsale." So this guy has over $10,000 and no items to ship.
