Stanzi getting drafted?

I guess the other thing that I would say would hurt ricky brady is his arm strength. He just does not have enough zip to throw a good out pattern.

He throws a great slant, and really solid deep ball, but that is due more to his touch than arm strength.

Well I had it down to just a couple of the brainiacs that post on u sites. Shada's Revenge maybe?

What a stupid screen name, when did he ever get any revenge? The guy got beat like he stole something....I think James Hardy is collecting an NFL paycheck because of that kid:twitcy:

It's just like Sash should send part of every NFL paycheck he ever gets to AA.

That'll be the only way AA will get money from the NFL.

No again.
I always assumed Shada'sRevenge referred to the fact that despite Iowa fans constantly ragging on him throughout his career he got the last laugh because he got a sweet job in NYC after graduation, but I don't really know for sure.

I was at his last senior game, and I distinctly remember the student section booing him. That was pretty embarassing to say the least.

He is also rumored to have nailed Jen Sterger. Yeah, Brett Favre's Jen Sterger.

Spoken like someone who has never played football anywhere relevant

So you think changing an offensive system is harder on an OL than it is a QB? Gotcha

Mental note... mattyheiden is an idiot.

Not saying changing a system isn't hard on the OL. It is. It is probably the second hardest position. Right behind QB.

This thread reminds me of a joke going around the Iowa boards so SIAP....

What do Ricky Stanzi and the Iowa State football program have in common?

They both have 3 bowl wins.

Your post reels of ignorance.

Bad Banks and Ryan Leaf both went o the NFL, so pardon me I'd I don't consider that a sign of ability.

I am guessing most you didn't see much of AA in his soph year. Nor do you know his injury status. So I am guessing that you can't make an intelligent judgement. AS displayed all the throws his sophistication year. Then he was put in an offense that did not fit his play. That is all I am saying.

Who knows how he would have developed if in the same offense for 5 years. That is why I amsaying it is hard to compare. Stanzi was in the same offense for his whole career. An offense that require him to hand the ball off 65%+ of the tune. Take care of the ball and let the defense win the game. He did it very well.

This is such a phallacy- Iowa has passed more than they have thrown in every season except for 2008- Stanzi's first year. Subtract the sacks and scrambles- those are called passing plays and it is closer to 55% pass. Stanzi had to actually make complex decisions in the Iowa offense and didn't have to look to the sideline to make an audible. I have watched at least 4 ISU games a season since 2005 and usually more. Arnaud would have made a great safety.

I think "fallacy" is the word you're looking for.

"Phallacy" is not a word, but if it was, it would probably mean:
-having the characteristics of male genitalia, as in:

"Boy, you NFL doctors are really thorough," said Rick, "I know you said it was just a finger, but something feels sorta phallacy, back there. By the way, which team did you say you were with?"

Yet FreeRentz is only .500 against Iowa State.

that is funny stuff.

As for QB's--from 1990-2000 Iowa had the worst run of QB's in the BCS

Randy Reiner? Scott Mullin? Livingston?

Stanzi--more power to you for getting drafted. Iowa hasn't had an NFL QB in 20 years

Spoken like a lot of ISU fans I know. Who cares about BCS Bowls or conference titles. As long as we can beat Iowa(which you haven't done at too high of a clip lately) we're happy.
