McKnight Transferring

Hope he finds a good team, I think he has some talent for sure ,not sure why FH didn't play him more

I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that DG would've schooled him on the block, let alone Marcus Morris. Keiton Paige would've had a shot at schooling him on the block.

Too bad it didn't work out. Its crazy to think that he was our highest recruit at least according to ESPN. I'm with a redshirt year while transfering he can turn into a solid mid-major player. Best of luck to him.

Be interesting to see where he lands but more interesting what we do now with this open scholly (only open scholly if my math is correct).

Clyburn from Utah is not a post player if that is who you are referring to

He is more of a small forward type....plays the wing

Yeah, that's the real interesting question:

1) Spring '11 recruit?
2) Take a 2nd transfer who will sit out next year and be eligible in '12?
3) Bank it for '12 recruiting class

I am betting that we are loooking for best available talent (be it spring signee, trasfer, or '12 recruit), since we don't have any immediate holes that need filled for next season.

When was the last time we had an offseason where no one transferred out? Has there been one in the last 20 years?

I would also take a Jake Anderson or Chris Allen type of transfers.

I'll sign up for another Jake Anderson. I'm not sure if I'd like another 2 for 1 player. If we can't get anyone who can make a significant impact next year then I'd rather us just bank the scholly for next year. Its not like we were counting on McKnight for next year anyway.

Not surprised, wish he would have got more of a chance. The potential is there, good luck to him where ever he goes.

Who is McKnight? In all seriousness, I thought McKnight was red-shirting until about mid-February, so this news far from surprises me...
