Sheesh, how can you even suggest that the coaching staff with all of their years of basketball experience are more qualified than posters on this site to determine who would or would not be a good addition to the team?
Isn't that the kind of player we have now? I'd like to step up to third team, anyway, or * gasp * even second or first team. How many years have we placed no one on any of the all-conference teams but had a couple of honorable mentions? A lot, IIRC.
How, exactly, is he going to sign with us? The Spring signing period is April 15, though I'm not sure how that applies to a transfer.

You're absolutely right. I mean teams in the bottom half of major conferences sign players late in the spring all the time who end up being 1st and 2nd team all conference players. Thats a big trend among highly ranked recruits. Wait until late their senior year then pick a mediocre schoo to go play at. There are tons of really good prospects still looking for a school at this time of the year.
Yes, Fred is doing a decent job recruiting, therefore, if he wants Luscious he has a good reason to do so. Make up your mind.
I'll be amazed if we have anyone but DG on the list and he will be honorable mention......so, no we don't have that kind of player on this year's squad.
What we need is a good TEAM. That means multiple players of honorable mention quality or better... Instead of maybe just "one"...

I think DG has a pretty good shot at 2nd team. I don't think he deserves 1st team all conference though. He might be the best pure PG in the conference but the first team usually ends up the best 5 players in the conference, regardless of position, and I don't think he is one of the top 5 players... plus, it is really, really hard to put a player on the last place team in a 12 team league on the first team.
I hope he gets 2nd team though, I could see him getting the shaft, but I think he deserves it.

Agreed. Our record makes 1st team impossible, but his #s call for an appearance. 2nd team would be about right.
