***Official Game Day Thread - ISU vs. Nebraska***

Wasted every possession after we got to 62-58 trying to be passive and wind down the shot clock. Not even running anything looking for a shot.

Playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Just keep running the offense that got us the lead.

Our guys played a very tough game, I'm not disappointed with the effort at all. Nebraska got all the calls in the final 2 mins.

HATE the way we lost.

LOVE the way we just fought and fought and fought all game long - with being short on guys and in foul trouble all night.

No kidding.

Don't know if anyone watched any bball today, but it is hard to win on the road in the Big 12.

We just need to make sure we win win 6/8 at home and we will be just fine.

Big difference in the game: Nebraska players look like they spend time in the weight room, ISU players DO NOT. Heck, our strongest player last year, Craig Brackins, looked like a freaking pencil.

Nice ignorant blanket statement. shows how little you know about building muscle and strength and conditioning.

Man disappointing loss. but we almost won that one with scotty and jake less than 100% and minus railey on the road. I'm still hopeful for a successful year. Great effort guys.

Some of the worst officiating i've ever seen. Yeah we played bad down the stretch. But when your calling tie ups in their favor and the same thing is a foul for ISU, you're pretty bad. And you let the game be decided on a very ticky-tacky foul on the FT line? All fans should be disappointed and robbed by more micro-managing refs.

Hate to point the finger at the refs here but can we call an even game please???

6 seconds, tied, you have the ball, and .......??? Still, regardless of the refs you put the ball in DG's hands you think he will get a shot up instead of giving up the ball even if he was hammered.

Rick Hartzell hasn't called an even game for ISU ever since McDermott left UNI. He is our Ed Hightower.

Maybe Iowa State needs to learn how to freakin rebound and not turn the ******* ball over, damn it!! Typical cannot finish a close game once again got to play tougher boys good effort.

Are you kidding me? They have two guys- Walker and Jeter - that obviously lift. After that they have two Mexis (one with knockers the other looks like he could snap in two) and a plethora of interchangeable adolescent-looking pasties. We are obviously in better shape as a whole

Especially considering we played with 7 tonight - and really not even that many. I think they had 10 guys that saw action.

Godfrey and Ejim are two of the most developed freshmen I've seen at ISU for a long time. They've spent some time in the weight room. We just don't have an offensive lineman as a center so it looks like our guys are tiny.
