Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
Last years team didn't deserve to go to a bowl and neither did our opponent.
You're looking at our entire history of bowl wins and counting last year, which until recently, would never have happened because average or worse teams didn't get to go to bowls.
Historically speaking, last years bowl should not be on equal footing as those we went to prior, when bowls meant something.
It's a watered down mess, now, where 1/2 or over 1/2 the teams get to go.
It's just like Iowa bragging about a 10 win season...yes, technically it's a 10 win season, but you now play 12 regular season games. New Years bowls are another thing that no longer mean anything, yet if we ever make it to on, even a sucky one, look for every person on here to have it in their sig.
I think Danny Mac coined the phrase "Bowl Championship", to make it sound as though it actually meant something. It doesn't, anymore.
