They sell em at TGalaxy. The replicas arent the best up close. The material looked a lil thin. I really liked having Gold as the dominating color. And the shirt/pants were ACTUAL gold!
Anyone know when we will be able to pick up the game worn jerseys?

Great observation...we all have our individual likes. In fact, I really like the throwbacks. But I still recognize that JP knows the dollars involved, the TV look of a logo, projected sales of a new logo and the value of a new look better that the rest of us. I suspect we will see a throwback game every year. Then all of us can see our favorite uniform of the past on the field. It's pretty creative marketing if you ask me.

why wait until next year.....play the rest of the season with them, the current uni's are not attractive and they loose in them.

I loved the throwback jersey's from yesterday, but I must say the 2008 set-up looks very nice as well. If I had to change anything for next year, it would have been to use a gold colored helmet instead of white.
But, IMO the new uniforms will look sweet next year.

At first, I didn't like the white helmets then I realized how well the opponents blood would show up on the white of the helmet. It will look good.:biggrin:

I can't believe we just beat Iowa, got the first win for our new coach, and renewed hope for the football season, and we are already back to bickering about logos, uniform styles, colors, etc.... What is with people on this board and their obsessions with our team's fashion statements?

If we can keep those "vintage" colors, I am willing to wait to see how next season's uniforms pan out. Glory, not Happy Meals.

The throwback jerseys rocked-I bought one and have worn it to every home game. I can't tell you how many people have commented on how sharp it looked (or maybe it was just me?)
The classic cardinal and gold colors are way better than some of the ketchup and mustard we have worn-we need to go back to them, permanently!!!
Someone forward this petition to JP and the marketing director!!

I have had the same happen as well, its definately a strong favorite of the fans.
