Charles Boozer To Transfer

I agree. The kid made a mistake. He has taken responsibility for it. He understands that his actions not only put himself in a bad light but did the same for Iowa State. He addressed things with the coach and has decided to move on. This is the kind of responsibility I have come to expect from Cyclone athletes. He didn't leave under the darkness of night, he didn't take parting shots at the staff or anyone with ISU. He took responsibility for his actions and that is pretty damn respectable IMO. I hope he gets his issues figured out and everything goes well for him in the future.
 
Regardless of the outcome of the situation he handled the exit with class. I’m guessing they won’t have anything that will tarnish Freddy his first year. He needs to be squeaky clean in the short term.

I hope Oliver can get healthy. I don’t know what it could be yet but it would be REALLY nice to have him available next year.

I bet he transfers to Creighton. He must have been forced out by hoiberg since Boozer was the first player to say that he was back next year for sure..at least thats what he said to John Walters.
 
So this means DG will be the first 4-year player since Rahshon Clark. I think that was part of why everyone like Booze so much, because of his longevity with the program when everyone else was jumping ship. I hope he bounces back quickly cause deep down, he's a good kid.
 
Too bad for CB, he seems like a good kid who is having a few problems. Wish him nothing but the best.

For the 2010 MBB outlook, does it really make much difference?

I would be much more upset if the release would have been harsh towards Charles than the way it was presented. The end result is the same and he is off the team very soon after the incident was first announced. Showing that the program will not keep players or try to hide incidents such as this while also announcing that the student will get treatment is a decent message to send to parents and future players. There is no way that trashing Charles or being stern in the message was really necessary in that release. I cannot imagine that it was Charles's idea to leave the team this soon after the incident.
 
The writing was all over the wall, I mean come on people, he came out with a video earlier this month stating he was on something, hopefully he finds the treatment he needs..

PS: does anyone know a place that treats "Boozer ****"
