Yesterday, some rumors began to surface here on the site that Justin Hamilton was thinking about coming back to Iowa State next season.

I've been told by a very reliable source that there is "no truth" to these rumors at all and that there is no chance he'll be a Cyclone next season.

Just passing along the info. With the story that came out regarding Hamilton's transfer possibilities today, this shouldn't be too surprising.

What?!?!? GMAC managed to lose Ham AGAIN? CAn this guy not hold onto a player. I mean he changed his mind and wanted to come back and GMAC could not even pull that off. Wow just terrible!

Good. Hopefully wilkins goes to Indiana to. I don't need Gmac doin anything crazy like winning 16-17 games and giving Jamie a reason to keep him around.

Thanks for clearing this up, Chris. The rumor of him reconsidering seemed far fetched at best.

I know we've been over this before, but you and others keep posting **** like this, so I'm going to repeat it: I really don't think anyone who cheers for the Cyclones to lose can be considered a fan.

I can understand not liking GMac at this point but why do you want the program to fail? What good does that do?

I guess I never received the official Iowa State fan rule book. Can you please provide me with a link?

That's how I had begun to feel about Lick last year, unfortunately.

I wanted him to succeed, but when it became apparent that the team was going to win fewer games than the football team, I started hoping that they would give Barta enough reason to fire him.

Accelerates McDermott's exit. Some, myself included, don't believe he will ever be successful here. I feel the sooner he is gone, the sooner we can get back on track with a successful basketball program. I also feel the longer he is here, the more work it will take for the next person who is the head of this basketball program. For the sake of ISU Athletics, I feel that the sooner McDermott is gone, the better off the program will be. Anything that gets him out of here faster, in my opinion, is a good thing.
