ISU vs OU

ISU typically designs a defense to stop the key player - not so easy this time. With four players in double figures, OU presents a balanced attack with AA caliber players at pg - Robinson 16.2 ppg and f - Thompson 11.5 ppg. The others will also hurt if left alone. Robinson / Aus is a permier matchup of pont guards if the coaches play it that way, but, BF might assign a different defender. Hopefully Prins is near full strength to take her turn with Abi.

We didn't have the personell to even attempt to slow down Apel. I still think it was the right move to just make her score all their points, it just didn't pan out.

Especially with Wieben playing on a broken foot (not known at the time) there was no game plan that would have won that game for us.

I agree - OU isn't on a par with Stanford of last year. Good teams don't have glaring weakness to exploit. That's key tonight - can we match up 5 on 5 with this team without having to double one at risk that another will have a career night against us?
