Usually you resort to a more methodical, slow offense when you do not have the athleticism. Princeton style works though if you have a certain potential, discipline, athleticism, etc

No because this is one of if not the biggest game on their schedule. Completely different story.
It's not an excuse. It's what happens. This isn't an ISU thing. This happens all the time all around the country. Mac won't make an excuse. Trust me. After the game, he'll admit that the first half was crap. It doesn't mean that the season is over.
our biggest game was last weekend when UNI came up to our barn and play us..
We got texas a/m whose 18th in a few weeks too down there.

True, but i thought this team got over beating crappy teams like this by 10-15 points. Lets hope they come out and stomp on their throats in the 2nd half

ND is 1-11 and terrible.
ISU is 8-3 and decent (jury is still out as to how good we are or aren't).
ND could be playing the game of their season and ISU should be up by more than we are now. But ND is playing like **** too, and we're only up by 10. If we don't get our heads in it, ND will stay around until the end of the game, and we've all seen how terrible we are at holding on to a tight lead at the end of games.

The thing is if your a realist you realize that a ND team looks at this game as probably their biggest game all year. ISU may be the exact opposite. Focus the last few days was probably not 100% on this game for ISU, and that is nobody's fault. I myself have been more worried about the weather and getting home for X-mas than I have been at work this week.
Why do people keep accepting us playing bad? Just keep making excuses for this team. Do people think we will just instantly learn in big games to play disciplined and focused? Why even practice if we only expect to play well in big games.
The same team playing in the easy games is the same team that will play in the big games. I expect the results from ISU should be the same... which should be a 40 point victory tonight. What we are seeing on the floor worries me.
Expecting to just play well when it matter results in losses like we saw against NW and UNI.
I sure hope to see a 50 to 20 point second half... winning by 40. Anything less will be a disappointment to me.
