I'm not really sure what you guys expected to see tonight. Going against a 1-11 team...3 days before Christmas with an arena that is a fourth full. Think about it.
LOL...for this game it's probably not even 1/20th full.
Capacity is just over 14,000 and I've been to many sold out games. When we're good, the average attendance come conference place is probably at least 12,000 to if we're awesome then sold out (over 14,000)
Because we're playing like utter **** and if we did this against a good, big conference team we'd be getting murdered?
Pathetic. Looks like a high school team out there. The other team is shooting less than 30 per cent from the field, and only trails by 10. Great job!
Like the announcers said, there are a lot of X factors on this game. 2 days before x-mas and everyone is probably a little more worried about getting home with the weather, etc. Dendy and Gilstrap both have kids I'm sure they are nervous they may not get to see, and everyone else is probably ready to just go home. The same thing happened last year, and it resulted in a loss. We are lucky to be playing a horrible team right now.

Exactly. Were going to win the game. We can afford to play like this against this team. Lets just not have it carry over.
But we are not playing a good team. Thats the beauty of it. You can let are guys play through it without calling a time out. If this was Texas, I would agree that McDermott should be using a few TO's.
They should be ahead by more. ND is just awful, and they're playing even worse tonight. Should be a 20-30 point game at the half, no question.
I expected a Big 12 team to show-up and blow out a 1-11 team. Helen Keller has a higher lifetime shot percentage than this team.
If I were GMac, I would start the 2nd or 3rd five in the second half. Maybe that will wake the starters up. Try something!
Great post right there. You nailed it. Just because Iowa State isn't up by 40 right now doesn't mean that they suck and won't win another game. I hate games that are scheduled like this.
