I wish I'd known this was going on. It would have been excellent to see.
I also wish they weren't counting that error against the perfect game. Who committed it?

I just picked him up on my fantasy team. I dont expect this every night obviously.
Did anyone else think that the last called third strike was way too outside?
Oh well . . .
He's 3-8 with a 4.69 ERA, and that's AFTER his CG No-Hitter. It's always cool when a "journeyman" type pitcher comes from nowhere and tosses a gem - Len Barker's perfect game comes to mind (losing career record).
I still think one of the coolest sports trivia questions is: What (relatively recent) MLB player was on the winning side in three perfect games?
Seeing it this morning, I thought it was high, not outside - it looked like it caught the plate.
It looked like it went more around the plate rather than over it, but I don't have a problem with calling a pitcher's strike in that situation. The ultimate pitcher's strike was the final full count pitch in Don Larson's World Series perfect game. It was much closer to shoulder high than it was letter high.
