Every summer ISU's summer camps are very well attended. This summer's elite camp could be something special. After coming off an elite-8 appearence, new openings from kids leaving and the new training facility well on it's way....wow!! and oh yea the incoming freshman class alway's play's...kids come from all over the country....alot of them got some serious game..GO Clones

over the years i've been there for at least one session. When the camp ends on Sunday the kids are pretty exhausted ,but the coaches have had a good chance to evaluate the girls.Rember the coaches can talk to the underclassman because they are on campus. The kids also get a good idea what div 1 BB is gonna be like.

Any news on recruiting?

All I have is a short (not nearly complete) list of players we're recruiting from the 2010 incoming class:

Hallie Christofferson -- Exira 6'3" post: Omaha.com High School Sports Section

Morgan Paige -- Marion 5'10" wing (big sister of Linn-Mar BBB freshman PG Marcus Paige)

Cassie Rochel -- Lakeville North (MN) 6'4" post: No limits for Lakeville North's 'The tall one'

Carli Tritz -- SC Heelan 5'10" guard: Omaha.com High School Sports Section

If we can get Paige, that could only help us land Marcus, since they are extremely close. Plus, I've heard she's really good.

Where do they hold it? I assume either Hilton or Forker, although Hilton makes a lot more sense from a recruiting standpoint. :)

I know someone who attended last year. Anyone can come and watch and it is held at the forker Building.

Cassie Rochel was there last year as well..played ok...was really thin..will be interested to see if she has expanded her frame at all.

I like how we are worried about Marcus Pages heighth and yet his sister is 5"10.

Does anyone know if Tritz has committed

(You accidentally put your message in the title...)

Not that I've heard. This article says she only decided that basketball would be her college sport in January (she's a top-notch volleyball and soccer player as well). The article is only three weeks old and names Creighton, Nebraska, Iowa State, Drake, Northern Iowa, Kansas State and South Dakota as some of the schools recruiting her.

The Christofferson gal has an older sister that throws shot or disc for the ISU track team, I believe. She'd be a nice addition.

ISU is not recruiting Tritz or Paige. Paige has narrowed down to Drake and Wisconsin. Tritz is down to Drake, Creighton, or UNI.

I'd be really surprised if we didn't get her! Especially since her sister is a good thrower here at ISU and thwe success we had last season!
