This week, @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and I will begin OTN's annual series focused on top albums from years past, in decade increments.

This year's theme is "To the 9's" ... Week 1 is 1959/1969.

Additional segments will follow with '79, '89 and '99.

We want to give advance notice to allow time to contemplate and compile.

Please Do Not Post any of your choices in this thread. We'll start the official thread late Tuesday, as is the custom.

The new ones interest me as a possible replacement for my Dodge Durango (which has 190,000 miles on it). I want something with a lot of tech that is quiet and rides nice. By all accounts these do. Full-size pickups are so dang big it’s hard to find one with 4 doors that will fit in my garage!

Does anybody have one and what are your thoughts? I drive about 95% of my miles are on highway or gravel and 5% in farm fields.

8 wins: The Cyclones are a trendy pick to make the Big 12 Championship Game (12-1 odds to win it, per FanDuel). Personally, I'd take those odds if you're looking for a dark horse. This team is well-coached, has an excellent quarterback in Brock Purdyand -- gasp! -- a stingy defense. However, the schedule is tough. The Iowa game is always a toss-up, and the Cyclones get Oklahoma and Texas in back-to-back weeks in November. Plus, consecutive road trips to West Virginia and Texas Tech in mid-October is just setting up for an unexpected loss. Oddsmakers have this win total just about right, but given the round number, I'll take the over. -- Over +106, Under -124

Haliburton a 1st Rounder in latest CBS Mock

Has him going #25 to the Rockets. Author's write-up:

Houston needs to invest in a young point guard of the future, and Haliburton is a perfect fit on the Rockets, where James Harden primarily dominates the ball, for this reason: He was in the 91st percentile as spot-up shooter and rated in the 95th percentile in transition opportunitie as a freshman last season. His game should translate well to the NBA -- and particularly to a fit like Houston.

Friday OT - Nailed It

Thanks so much to @jbindm for this idea!!

He was thinking about actors who nailed a role so well that when you see them in anything else you still only think of them in that signature role. I think an obvious one is Daniel Radcliffe - he's worked so hard to have a diverse career, but he's always going to be Harry Potter.

What are some other roles where the actor nailed it so well that it kind of ruins them for anything else they appear in?

Had to give it a shot here. We have a friend (ISU graduate) driving his RV from North Carolina and wants to treat his mother (lives in eastern Iowa) to an ISU tailgate for her birthday.
