FS: 4 - ULM SEZ Club Tickets

Good Morning Cyclone Nation!
I am selling 4 of my 6 tickets into the Sukup Endzone Club for this weekends game against Louisiana Monroe. The tickets are in Section 20, Row 39, Seats 19-22. They are very close to the aisle as well as the very top of Section 20 which allows for quick access to the climate controlled area. With the potential for the R work on Saturday, this make for a quick hideout.

$400 for all 4.

On That Note: A little bit country

Welcome back to "On That Note," Cyclone Fanatic's weekly exploration of music, hosted by @MeanDean, @CycloneRulzzz and me, cyclones500.

This week’s segment: Partly inspired by the premiere of the latest Ken Burns doc, “Country Music" (currently discussed in this thread initiated by @Bret44)

I can’t speak for everyone here, but I definitely gravitate much more toward rock ’n’ roll than C&W. But when I think about it, I’m surprised how much music I like that has a countrified sound (and sometimes country-esque lyrical themes). It’s also easy to forget that both forms have overlap in their roots, they’ve simply taken slightly different paths and in many ways have been promoted differently. (For example, think about commonalities that Elvis and Chuck Berry’s music have with C&W).

With that, let’s explore both “pure” country songs and others that interweave the genres to our liking. I'll begin my list in a separate post.

AIRING TODAY: Jack Trice story coming to ESPN this fall

Emerging from my lair to share this.

There will be two small pieces about Jack Trice on ESPN this fall. One will be in the weekly documentary series and another in a film later this season. At least that's the plan as it stands now.

I will have other things coming soon. (Biting tongue so hard blood gushes down my body...)

UPDATE ON JANUARY 6, 2020:

Hock Films did two documentaries for ESPN CFB150 and the first one premiered earlier this fall (The College Game) and the second one is going to premiere this weekend (The College Player).

Originally slated for the first film, the small Jack Trice story, perhaps a few minutes long, got pushed back to the second film. If I recall correctly, they only had 90 minutes to talk about every player in the history of college football, so the fact that Jack is getting a few minutes is BIG TIME!

Tune in, why don't ya.

Iowa Band Allegations

I, personally, don't like 'premature' disclosure. But on the other hand, if there's validity to it, it must be investigated. The 'inference', by itself, is harmful to ISU. The current state of journalism is to 'infer' in magnitude to garner clicks. I just wish there were repercussions to incorrectly applying this methodology.
