What do you think of the offense being run this year?

I like seeing Cook play well, but I thought the passing game was gonna be so much better considering the weapons - Cook out of the backfield, Thielen, Diggs, Rudy etc.

Does anyone else worry that Diggs is going to ask to be traded due to lack of targets?

Anyone else have issues with logging in at times? Second week in a row that the app doesn't let me log in between the morning and afternoon NFL games.

Looking at the current Big XII stats as of this weekend. Brock is now second both in total offense and passing yards per game—but “only” 6th in pass efficiency.

Connor Assalley is third in scoring, and second in kick scoring.

Deshaunte is second in the conference in receptions. Charlie Kolar is 8th.

Tarique and Deshaunte are second and fitfh in reception yards.

Tarique is 6th in all purpose yards.

Apparently Joe Rivera doesn’t have enough punts to qualify. Who’d a thunk?

Beyond that, I see third in team total offense, and fifth in total defense at the moment. Given how my eyes are misbehaving this afternoon, you’re on your own for the rest.

Well he’s on the roster & directory now. Excited to see what he can do. Looks like he has put in some good weight.

Sure wouldn't mind adding this guy to the DL next year. He sure seemed to like his visit this weekend.

I have reason to believe the first few years of Jack Trice Stadium wasn't called Cyclone Stadium as previously thought. I believe it was called the slightly boring name of "New Stadium".

I was looking through old football programs and stumbled upon this "Football Stadium Quiz" in the 1977 Program



If you look on the right, we're number 19 and if you look on the left there is no mention of "Cyclone Stadium". If you look at the answers on the bottom, you'll see that 19 matches up with U. U is "New Stadium (50,000). If you look up the capacity in 1977 for our stadium it was 48,000 with 2,000 standing room only or as we call it, the hillsides.

I also checked various stadiums and their 1977 capacity and it was all correct. I looked through the rest of the 1977 programs and there is no mention of Cyclone Stadium at all.

In fact if you look at the first program in 1975 of New Stadium it doesn't mention Cyclone Stadium at all either.



So in conclusion, we've been using the wrong name for over 40 years! Long live New Stadium!

Opened up as a dog on the road. I wasn’t too impressed with Baylor yesterday but that’s the only game I’ve seen so far.

Will be interesting to see what happens if we beat Baylor. We should be back in that case but still a lot of room between us and being ranked.

Not only did Purdy grade out as the best QB this week but Downing graded out at the best guard in college football this week!

So one of our party could not be at game until after1st quarter. They had a reserved stall pass and someone parked in it. (Second time this has happened in the last 3 years)

So they parked in an nearby spot. To make sure our parties car was not towed called the in-game contact number and had to leave game and walk out to the lot. ISU responded quickly and ran the plates.

If it was a Cyclone club member, I suggested they just contact and have a talk with them, if not tow. They did decide to tow regardless to protect the parking spots.

IMHO they need to keep parking staff out in lots through the first half for this type of issue.

Illinois up 14 - 0 first quarter. Man the Husker fans will start gathering the torches and pitch forks if they lose this one.

Whar the fans and the students today? Are ISU fans afraid of a little mist? The attendance was beyond disappointing today!

I will be driving for the next several hours. Anyway I can stream the post game reports? Thanks!

We were decent last week, outstanding this week. I don’t think I’ve seen a dropped pass this year. The running game still needs to get better. I think we will be ranked in the next few weeks if we can maintain our improvements and avoid injuries.

how do we get this kid on the field for more plays? I get that was not against the top tier team but dang he has a burst of speed. I wish we could use him like we used JJ Moses.
