Hawks in Lubbock

The wife and I went to Lubbock for the football game last weekend. We do road trips for some f'ball and b'ball games several times a year. It never fails that almost without exception, we will see a couple of Hawkeyes fans all decked out in black and gold, at the game. Can someone help me understand what's up with that. If they are going to go to watch good football, at least wear something a little less offensive.

Looks like Okie State's RFr QB, Sanders, has been struggling. 5 TD/9 INT in last five games.

ISU defense will need to step up and shut down RB Chuba Hubbard.

Here is how we fared against some of the conferences best rushers in 2018 (not named David).

Alex Barnes(KSU) ISU: 28 for 184/6.6 ypc
Pooka Williams(KU) ISU: 17 for 58/3.4 ypc
Trey Sermon(OU) ISU: 13 for 74/5.7 ypc
Justice Hill(OSU) ISU: 24 for 66/2.8 ypc

Barnes definitely got his, but we did good work against others (Sermon had Murray also).

What say you on Chuba?

Iowa St.

Tyrese Haliburton is the national breakout player to know. He was spectacular playing for USA Basketball over the summer. He had a 136.8 ORtg at KenPom last season, third-best in the country, and is a top-five point guard in America. Not getting nearly enough pub heading into November

Yes this is CyTwins

Before you all bash the Iowa Mens Basketball's 2020 recruiting class, why not ponder this. Am I thrilled that Fran stole two kids from Western Illinois to play at Iowa, ABSOLUTELY!! Did I think people would question their commitment, YOU BET!! But if you haven't watch them play, or workout, or study because they go to a prep school nobody's heard of I don't blame you.

How did Christian Williams end up, Waterloo Dale? As a fan and basketball expert, I would say that they would not be worthy of a MVC scholarship offer. They have both added 40+ lbs of muscle, increased their verticle jump by 17+ inches, will play at least 6 positions for their prep school team who will compete with the likes of IMG, Montverde and Prolific Prep during this season. They are still growing and could get another six inches or so (Keegan 6'8 and Kris 6'7.5). They are learning from Dan Pannagio (Wikipedia page in a foreign language). He is the basketball mind behind DME Sports Academy. They both shoot, handle and understand the game worse than I did at 19 years old. If they can take what Fran and Billy Taylor say they need to work on before they get to campus to be able to contribute, they will do it because Fran plays everyone. They have been underestimated and doubted for a long time and rightfully so. God Bless and Long Live Fran!!

WTB: 1 OSU ticket

Looking for one nosebleed/cheap ticket to OSU. Plan to use it for my wife and our family to sit on the hill so don't need anything other than to get in the door. Even if someone isn't using a parent pass that we could borrow (pay to borrow of course), let me know. Just seeing what options are out there.

iOS 13.1.3 Software Updating Problems

Like post IPhone users, the latest update is out and you should be seeing or have seen an update on your Iphone, Ipad, etc. Wife and I both have the 6s+ Iphones.

I got it Saturday and started the download process on Sunday. Problem is that is still has not completed as of 11 am this morning. It just gives me an "estimated time remaining...." The symbol keeps turning as it is supposed to. Wife updated her phone with no issues.

There is no way of stopping this from what I have seen and read. I did have some WiFi issues and went and reset my network setting. Anyone else ever deal with this kind of issue on a software update download?
