The Cowboys' best-ever chance at finishing No. 1 went awry on a Friday night in Ames. The Cowboys went ahead by 17 points in the third quarter. But Iowa State scored a touchdown with 5:30 left to tie it. After trading TDs in the first over time, Ter'Ran Benton picked off Brandon Weeden to set the stage for Cyclones' RB Jeff Woody's winning 4-yard TD run.

The season starts soon! Trackwrestling lists UNI, Missouri, Wisconsin and Wolf Pack (N Carolina St?). Does anyone know anything beyond what is in Trackwrestling?

This is going to start to become a bigger issue and I think will eventually lead the SEC to have to schedule 9 conference games.

(Also, there is a little irony with him discussing power noncons when tOSU didnt have one on the schedule this year. Cincy playing well helps with some of that I guess.)

Saw Jojo Rabbit today. One of the best satire movies I've ever seen and one of my favorites of the year no question. Hilarious on so many levels but gut-wrenchingly sad as well. I'll be seeing it again for sure. The acting is top notch. I will be rooting for this and the actors throughout the awards season without a doubt.

I don't follow as closely as I used to, but I still check in every Saturday morning to see what matchups I would like to watch. It seems like there are very few, or a few weeks, zero, marquee matchups.

Is it me? Or is this season just sorta dull?

(I am once again enjoying the Nebraska season, so that's something)

Sucks. There is no word from them but there is basically a nationwide outage of channels 206-240. They aren't even answering their phones right now. I spent 40min on hold just to be dropped.
