It seems like off of CF the buzz around football starting is quite muted compared to previous years. The ticket exchange on here is full of tickets (seems like more than normal) and there has to be at least 20,000 on ticketmaster.

Besides the gambling stuff, which I doubt affects hardcore fans attending vs not attending, does anyone else sense a lack of excitement?

There was discussion about how Florida has really underachieved lately during the Utah game last night. They're not alone - who is the worst offender in terms of resources, recruiting territory, ect? I struggled if I should include Michigan and Notre Dame on this list as they've been very good as of late, but given their history and expectations not winning a championship for so long I included them.
