Hey Mr. Miller how are we tonight? What a glorious weekend of college football. Do you think that old joe will pack it in after this season? And will Kirk make some changes in his team? I think if Shawn Greene keeps this run going he's gone and I think the years of Christersen are done he will transfer out. What are your thoughts on the whole thing? And you should invest in a Xbox 360 and NCAA Football 2009 cause it's nice to make the team in your image and win national champioships year in and year out lol.

Thanks for the note. I appreciate it. I don't ever try to say I am something I am not. I don't hide that I am a Hawkeye fan. But contrary to what some believe, that doesn't make me anti-clone. I can appreciate that you and other ISU fans may have experiences with some Iowa fans that automatically makes you suspect of them, and or their motives. I just would hope folks can try to take someone at face value. When I poke, it's obvious that I am poking. And some of the exchanges that happen, I have no problems with it. They are a fun diversion of life. But some folks take this waaaay too far and too seriously. take care.

Your post about the schedule of your show tells me more than any other thing you posted defending yourself. The last time I got the chance to listen was on a Tuesday; per your message, a Hawk day.
I will fully admit to my ignorance of your show and stand corrected on my 99% Hawk comment. Unfortunately, with my "normal" work schedule I very rarely get the chance to listen. I also now have a better understanding of some of the biased comments here and will think better in the future.
I may continue to argue with you on certian posts, but when you are a "neutral" participant/commentator, I generally appreciate your comments.

I first arrived at ISU in '75 - not quite a good football season, but by the next year, man-o-man. Our '76 team was ranked as the #3 offense in the nation thanks to a dual QB tandem of Hardeman and Stanley (and everybody was worried about AA and Bates - ha). You mentioned Luther Blue, In the game vs Nebraska that year, he returned a kick off 95 yards for a TD to secure our win. Looking back, I really feel the '76 team could be argued as the best ISU team ever, even though they had an 8-3 record (with the win over #9 Neb) and no bowl invite that year!!

cy bobby, we won't have a foootball program until we get some athletes in.very few 1 star or 2 strar rivals cut the mustard.dan mccarney had equal chances to recruit chase daniel and graham harrell. i was alll over chizik last year to recruit robert griffin the freshman at baylor.chizik did not get him.griffin is the ncaa interemediate 400
hurdle champion as a spring semester freshman at baylor. i went to the baylor game.griffin sliced and diced our defense 38-10 that night.
i sent mccarney and have sent chizik at least 1200 football candidates per year.pollard is going to up set the fan base with his little letter he sent out.if we don't increase the grade of athlete we are bringing in for football, we will be back in the donnie duncan era when we were forced to go down hill.danny mac had some good teams and resigned his last year when he was down.we need 4 star rival or scout recruits if we are going to build a football program.kansas has done it-texas tech has done it-tcu has done it mike gundy has done it at okie state. it helps if you have a boone pickens to give your university 160 million.i don't know too many iowa state alums that have that deep a pocket. you have to have top athletes in your recruiting class to succeed and hold your fan base. if we get reynolds from reedley and carpenter from kansas jucos we may be headed in the right direction.my donations to iowa state are going to the biochemistry dept. i am fed up with the direction of the football program
being a former athlete at iowa state.

Hey Jeff. Nice boat. Love the name and logo. We do most of our boating down at Lake of the Ozarks, that's where we keep our boat. We don't have a trailer so the boat is water locked. There's good and bad with it but it's all fun. How about you? Where do you boat?
