just a post to add humor to all of the DC threads,to this day,i do not think rhoads knows who his defensive coordinator will be. i hope he is able to bring charlie partridge back. charlie is a very high quality coach and one very good recruiter.note rhoads has two recruiters on staff that were formerly directors of recruiting for ISU in ash and fountain. if charlie partridge were to become our DC that would give us 3 former directors of recruiting on coach rhoads staff.

I have heard that Johnson was on the hot seat. But I don't think he has much to worry about. Poeta and Kennedy should have a big tournament.
Johnson does rely on instate recruiting a bit too much though. I think a little diversity is what that team is lacking from becoming a team that can compete with the top tier.

how much do you pay attention to wrestling on a national level?
I ask because I wonder what you think about Illini coach, Mark Johnson. People from around the state are calling for his head, because he takes awesome blue chippers and ruines their offense. I tend to side with them, but I sort of wanted an outsider's opinion.
