What is the reason for the running game being better?

I know, dumb question, it is Hall in general. But beyond that, is there something that the OL is doing better, or is it the use on 3 TEs a lot, or is Downing a huge addition or that ISU has played bad defenses lately or is it all because Hall is just a very good running back? Does the line play harder when they know a guy like Hill can turn a 2 yard game into a TD?

I still think Lang is a good back, and Kene has his moments. Hill definitely passes as a blocker, which will keep Croney on the sideline a lot. He has had some nice pickups and has destroyed a couple guys on the edge.

Keto

My wife and I are about to start keto and it’s long overdue. I’m 6’6”, was 190 when I graduated high school, and have ended up hovering the 280-290 range for years now. Im hoping to settle in the 240ish range but don’t really have a target weight. Just to feel healthy again.

Anyone have any good resources? My wife picked up a beginners guide on amazon but the recipes seem really involved for every day type of meals. I know what I’m getting into with the diet itself, so not looking to debate the pros and cons. I’m basically eliminating the foods I have allergies to like most fruit and grains. I haven’t eaten fruit in years but have had a hard time giving up grains even though I feel like **** afterwords.

Watching B12 media days, here are rule changes ...

1. post play will be cleaned up - no more arm-barring off the post or bullying over the defender, Dok
2. traveling will be enforced particularly on the post and with step-back jumpers which effectively won't be allowed
3. defenders will not be allowed to undercut jump shooters
4. shooters will not be allowed to leg kick
5. flopping will be a foul - no more Wigg's head-bobs, sitting down on a charge, or Marcus Smart-like flopping after shot
6. piling on any player on the floor regardless the circumstances will be a foul
7. shot clock resets to 20-secs after offensive rebound
8. three-point line moved to international distance

The time is at hand

The first exhibition game here in Waco is tonight at 7:00 against Langston. There will be two exhibition games here. One tonight and one on the 30th. I've noticed ISU only has one on their schedule and that being the 30th. I know these games don't even count on the W-L record for the year but they are somewhat valuable in helping coaches sort out a lot of things like line-ups, plays etc. I'm sure looking forward to this season and expecting to see quite a few more Cyclones fans this year at the tourney since it will be in KC.

I have recently read up on all the line ups, new recruits, transfers etc that will be affecting each Big 12 team this year. I really don't know how to call/guess at 8 of the teams. It seems that very few have made any major upgrades. Tech has several transfers that were on the bench last year that will be playing now. I feel they will be better in spite of so many who transferred out. OU also will be a little better just due to the young ones maturing. WV is hard to say. I thought they would be better last year than they were, so who knows. TCU seems to be same ole same ole. I doubt KSU will be as good as last year. Right now TX has got two starters hobbling around injured and won't be playing for a while. Joyner has a big boot on her foot in fact. But better to have the injuries early than late. Regardless of how it shakes out the "TIME" is upon us and nets will soon be swishing in WBB.

WTB: Parking pass for OSU

Joining everyone else now that public parking is disappearing....

Looking for a parking pass (don't have a preference where) for this weekend. Would love 2 if possible (I know, wishful thinking), but we can cram into 1 SUV if we all need to.

Message me with anything you are willing to part with. I am in SW Iowa, but have family in DSM who may be able to help with the exchange.
