Growing up a Cyclone fan and being 50 years old. I always had a backup team to root for when we suck. Which was most years when I was younger. I always rooted for Bama and Miami. For the most part I wanted to root for a team that could win. So what is your backup team for seasons like this?

I was watching on a computer screen with sound off. It looked to me on both camera angles that the kick was good. Did anybody else see it that way?

Hard to imagine an official could mess up a field goal call but it looked good to me.

I’m watching through first time with “coda” and “the offer” after the original two remastered on paramount plus. First time in hd as I always had it on dvd and laser.

One thing I’m finding amusing is the high % of times people eat cake, there’s lots of cake throughout, almost a cake movie trilogy.

I’ve been around for a few coaches and I’m definitely getting that feeling. McDermott, McCarney, Rhoads, Prohm. Not going to include guys like Morgan, Fred, or Chizik as those were different/very short term situations. Obviously Larry was a unique situation as well.

I’ve had this feeling before and while we’re not totally rotted out (there’s a chance CMC could bounce back a la Kirk Ferentz), I think the “rot” has definitely started to sneak in, if only just a little bit, especially with the gambling issue and it’s direct contradiction to the “5-Star Culture” mantra.

I remember this story as a kid. He thought he was setting a new trend. He had no idea of what he was doing. His staff were afraid to contradict him. He was too egotistical to ask for advice. His subjects were too flabbergasted to say anything. So he maintained his delusion and changed nothing.

It’s the O line. In year 8 of Campbell we have exactly 0. ZERO!!! Offensive lineman play a snap in the NFL. Got blown up by a MAC team today. We have starting NFL skill position players all across the NFL. We haven’t broken 100 yards rushing in the past two games and honestly it wasn’t close. Our RB’s are getting blown up behind the line. We need a large reset.

We just got beat by Ohio…a team out of the MAC?! Running backs had a total of 42 yards. Can’t imagine what the Big 12 teams are going to do to us! Sorry but I have dejavu of last years beating at TCU…only on a regular basis! Flu or no flu, we are going to be the Kansas of years past! Sorry but it is true!
