You know what I love about Wallace's "run" against Tech? The way that little Michael Wagner absolutely FLOORS that defender on the last segment of the run. I swear to God, it was like he was driving a Ford Explorer out there and ran that poor dude down like a possum on the highway. SPLAT!
It was great to see in person, but it gets even better every time I see that clip. It's like watching Steve McQueen try to jump that barb wire fence on that heavy pig of a Triumph in "The Great Escape". I know he's not going to make it, but I'm going to watch anyway. Just because.

This rational doesn't track. Backing off a statement when money comes into the discussion is the definition of "all talk". You say "we are winning by at least 17", then someone says "so you are giving 16.5 points?", and you say "no no straight up." How is that not being all talk?

I can see Tech winning the game, but not 45-24. I see a close game that will be decided late, and with how our crowds have been lately, should favor the Good Guys.

Ya that didn't really address the all talk issue. It does however bring up the question of "what kind of person doesn't bet what he believes?" Those scared cyclone fans won't even bet even though they believe their team will win.
Thank goodness Wreckdemtech answered that by saying people with any business acumen would not bet what they believe. By your logic, unless someone is certain that ISU is going to win they shouldn't bet. So the lack of betting speaks to the intelligence of this board and the understanding that there are no certainties in betting on sports.

I agree with most of this including the score prediction, but I think it comes down to whether the SJ from Tulsa game shows up, or the SJ who turned it over in the red zone at Iowa. It depends on how much Kirby can pin them inside the 20. It depends on the D showing up with a strong pass rush and getting some hurries and sacks, and maybe a turnover or two this game. I'll be there to see it either way.
