Yet Another Boneheaded Move by the Iowa AD

If they didn't want them there they shouldn't have sold them the tickets.

I'm betting some flunkie didn't realize the impact of giving 200 people dressed in orange an entire block of seats at Carver.

They mention the reason as something about the billing address being in Champaign. Not sure why that would be an issue.

I’m guessing that Iowa is claiming they shouldn’t have sold the group tickets. And the Illinois people are like we didn’t try and hide anything.

So, they bought the tickets legally, right? Did they answer a question that asked if they were Iowa fans before clicking buy? What are the grounds (legally, logically or morally) for not allowing a group who exchange money for their barely worthwhile seats to use them?

What kind of athletic department is so weak that they would even attempt to block a group from buying their AVAILABLE tickets?

Maybe Barta should make sure that none of his ******* idiot fans go to Ames, or Minneapolis, or Champaign or wherever they could legally be able to go. Just becuase.

That is the weakest, fearful, stupid and "come and criticize me and my department and school" moves I have ever seen. What an idiot.

If 200 fans in one section scares you, you have some crappy fans. It should be good to force your booking reading, knitting, trying to take a nap, I’m only here for the free food fans to actually get into the game and make some noise.

So...... Why shouldn't they sell tickets to opposing teams' fans? We have to put up with Kansas idiots all the time. If you don't want the orange crush showing up, get one of your big boosters to buy up the excess tickets or something. Don't whimp out and do what you just did. Idiot.
