Wait a second.... I had all these Hawk fans telling me that we wouldn't land any more good recruits since the Big 12 was breaking up?? What happened?

Didn't see a thread for this. Townsend is a 3* RB out of Tampa, FL. Committing in about 30 minutes at 3pm EDT / 2PM CDT.

This conference nonsense cant help going forward. Timing really is everything. Hope CMC and the boys absolutely kill it this year.

I feel real bad for the kid. All the realignment talk is distracting from all the attention he deserves for his commitment. I for one am glad we got him and I hope his mom had a great birthday!

Went to Hoodjer’s Twitter feed after seeing this and saw this:

And great news that we have added Townsend today!
Yeah, if only Des Moines radio stations talked about the Hawkeyes more the recruiting numbers would probably be reversed.
