Wow...and we thought the Bubu Case was Crazy (Patrick Kane)

It's damn near the same thing as Bubu's case, as Bubu's accusers mother admitted to tampering with evidence (washing the clothing the 'victim' was wearing the night the 'incident' happened)

I do understand the similarities...but this chick created a FAKE RAPE KIT and gave it to her Lawyer! WTF!!

Yup, they're very psycho.

What really pisses me off is it's ****ers like this that take away from REAL rape cases.

the mother tampering with evidence does not mean this could not still be a real rape case. It does make the mother a terrible person doing a huge disservice to her daughter.

Agreed. And all the "trashing" of the alleged victim by the jock worshippers makes it very understandable why most rape victims never come forward.

Yeah, this is why the Bubu saga is one of Cyclone Fanatic's darker chapters IMO. Lots of anonymous people ripping the character and reputation of someone who might have been raped. In reality, none of us know what happened.

Don't meant to call you out specifically Cubs but your first post in this thread is an example of this behavior.

I guess an argument could be made that the 'Mother' could see the writing on the wall that no charges were going to come forth and to kind of press the situation drummed up this idea to 'Get' the guy who allegedly raped her daughter.

I can see a parent going to an extreme situation...I can only imagine what would go through my head if my daughter told me that someone raped her. I would guess a 'Fake Rape Kit' would be child's play to what I would want to do.

Now....I agree that this in no way means that he didn't do it, but it for sure presents those watching the case as someone who is willing to lie to get their way.

That's why, imo, it would be best for all, if no names were released in situations like this, until at least charges are brought forth. Sometimes people aren't guilty, it helps so their name isn't dragged through the mud. More times, the girls is raped and this keeps people from picking sides based on the popularity of the other party.

Honestly, with today's access to information, I have no idea how you keep it quiet, but I really think it would be best for both parties involved.

I would have no issue with that; I don't know how you keep it quiet when it's a well-known person. Which is really the worst case, because that is when it's more likely that popularity will come into play as you mention.

It shows that the mother is willing to lie for reasons unknown. Did she smell an easy payoff coming her daughter's way? Did she know the cops are fans of Kane and worried they would do nothing? Is she crazy and her daughter wants nothing to do with her? Lots of different possible angles.

It does not say anything about the accuser at this point in time as nothing indicates she was aware of what her mother was doing.

I think in cases of rape the accused should get the same protection as the accuser, until proven guilty in court. It seems to be becoming common occurrence that an athlete is accused of rape, ostracized by society, and then it's found that the allegations are completely bogus. Not that just as many athletes aren't found guilty, but it's becoming a little ridiculous.

Our justice system is innocent until proven guilty, why shouldn't the media start treating these cases as such?

had a buddy that was about to end up in prison until all of a sudden a video (taken at a party) by the alleged victims best friend as a joke, set him free and proved that he was actually completely passed out at the time. Not only was he innocent, he was actually the victim.

Treat it the same way as reporting criminal cases for people under the age of 18. They can still report it, but they are permitted from reporting any names.

It seems to me that there is an equally large portion who assume X celebrity would never have done such a thing and the accuser is a money-chasing *****.

Some celebrities are sick pieces of **** who are guilty of rape. Sometimes innocent celebrities are made to look like sick pieces of **** by money chasing pieces of ****. Moral of the story is pieces of **** come in all forms and we should never just take somebody at their word no matter what.
