Worst weekend ever as a Cyclone fan?

As I've gotten older these don't bother me as much. Cheer them when they do good, try to shrug my shoulders when they lose. The players and coaches are way more invested in the season than me. Sad for Carr though he had a heck of a season

I’m glad I quit kxno several years ago, they will be giddy as can be Monday

In retrospect, I kind of wish I'd spent a little more time at Parks Library than falling in love with Cyclone sports while I was a student. Or at least...maybe more time in Gilman Hall working on a formula for Cyclone sports heartbreak.

I was pretty disappointed with that men's game yesterday just because it was so hard to watch. But I'm over it at this point and moved on. I know it's probably a lot harder on the players than me

I recall a really rough weekend around the mid-00s. Maybe it was one of the football games we lost that would have put us in the Big 12 championship game coupled with a bad basketball loss or lost recruit or something.

Time heals all wounds, but until then there is always alcohol.

Probably the FB loss at Mizzou

I knew there was something to this and looked it up.

Loss in Lawrence that screws up the Big 12 Title game deal.

BBall got pantsed 89-72 by Iona in the Cyclone Challenge.

Kind of puts things in perspective though. No?
I remember the moment of silence at the football game. Made the “bad thing” real to me, although I knew no one involved.
