Worst Commercials - Monday edition

I can not stand the "Chuck Huba, President of Iowa Diamond" commercials on the radio. That guy's voice drives me nuts for some reason. As soon as I hear it I automatically change the dial.

"Do you have any gold jewelry laying around that you aren't using? Send it to us and we'll send you cash."

Hey, I'm not even using this gold. I should just drop it in the mail for some cash.

For Eastern Iowa residents, the CBS 2 news commercials are the cheesiest ******** I have ever seen. The whole time showing people working in blue color jobs and crappy shots of some of the towns along I-380 is maddening. Not to mention the lame song "...thats what we doooooo. At CBS 2."

I think im ****** now just by writing that.

I HAVE to change the channel every time I hear it.

What asshat takes a video of the ultimate cheapshot of throwing a pool ball and hitting someone at the base of the skull? This is one of the least funny "funny" videos I have seen posted here.

Another one for you Eastern Iowans.
The A+ for Education by KCRG with the new female sports reporter. Absolutely awful.

Could not stand the Phillips 66 commercial that ran during every basketball game last year...basket pong I think it was. I am sure I will hate whatever commercial they run this year as well.

I have to disagree, at least partially. Some of those impressions were actually very good, and hearing the George W impersonator talk about "'Merica's best holiday, Presdents Day" gave me a grin, at least the first six times I heard it. I do agree they went on waaaaaaaaaaaay too long - starting with the aforementioned President's Day ad last February and running all the way past the election into November.

I also believe they weren't just local ads. My daughter, who lives in Madison now, said she heard those presidential ads for a Kia dealer in Madison. So some ad agency came up with these spots and localized them for several different markets.

You are wrong. They are horrible.

I honestly wish to inflict bodily harm on those effing little punk-butt kids on the AT&T commercial. You know the one where the little bastards are all hopped up on Mt Dew and you just KNOW the "proud" parents are just off camera thinking their little hell-spawn are cute and everyone loves them doing the "kids say the darndest things" take-off? Gawd I hate kids.

Physical harm..

You obviously don't spend time around a lot of kids because that's exactly how kids that age normally act. Having said that, I LOVE those commercials.

Worst radio commercial is easily any of the Es Tas commercials. God how I hate them.

I can't believe nobody has said anything mediacom and ESPECIALLY anything city of Ames. The basketpong commercial from this year is actually pretty funny. Last years was terrible! I hate the geico pig and I'm really starting to get frustrated with Flo even though they change up the commercials all of the time. Also the credit union that has the "SUCCESS OH YOU DREAMED A DREAM!" is awful!

Thats exactly why... 48 yr old, married 21 years and no kids. Puppies are cute because they're puppies. Kids are acting out on cues from mommy and daddy with the help of Honey BooBoo and Mt Dew.
