Wisconsin @ Iowa

So having 4 NBA players off the team since since 2008 while making consistent NCAA appearances is something to be ashamed of because they use white players? I suppose ISU's last 5 years are so much more impressive and enjoyable because their team doesn't have as many white guys.

LOL!

I don't know what you are talking about. You listed Gatens stats along with Allen's and Babb's and then laughed as if Gaten is superior. I then said look at the rest of the team, referring to the awesome cast surrounding Gatens. Didn't think I would have to spoon feed you that one.:twitcy:

If Iowa wins their next three games and a game in the Big Ten Tournament, they're NCAA worthy. Hawkeyes beat Michigan, IU, + Wisconsin 2X.

Is it even possible for Iowa to finish in the top 100 rpi?

Please don't respond to the KirkwoodONECommunity College and HawkeyeONECommunity College posters on this forum.
Don't feed the trolls please. Let them pretend like they actually go to basketball games at Carver and care when the team is in the toilet.

But the guarantee of being right is just too hard to pass up sometimes.

Eessh a bit harsh tonight are we? Isn't DMACC the same as Kirkwood is to UofI?

This from ISU's game with #2 Oklahoma State in football. <$10 tickets for football games vs. top 2 teams? Much more pathetic:

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State plays host to No. 2 Oklahoma State Friday at 7 p.m. in Jack Trice Stadium before a national ESPN TV audience in a game with national championship implications. To celebrate this special night the Cyclone Athletics Department is extending several ticket options for Iowa State fans.

Iowa State has extended its $11 reserved ticket special until 7 p.m. Fans can order tickets online at cyclones.com. More than 2,000 such seats were sold on Friday.

In addition the following offers are still available:

The Iowa State Four pack. For $40, fans get four hillside tickets, four sodas and four hot dogs.

The Faculty/Staff appreciation tickets are $10.

Lil Clone Club kids and their parents can sit in reserved seats for this game (first come - first serve basis - select sections). In addition, Lil Clone Club kids can bring a friend to the game free of charge.

Gold towels will be given away to the first 30,000 who enter the game (while supplies last). Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff.

LOL!

Not as bad as giving away free tickets. Not even close. Also, this dude is trolling hard.

Fred will always own Fran in this state, just some media types will try to derail Fred to no avail.

Keep dreaming. ISU has Kory Lucious @ pt guard next yr, and a ton of depth.

Iowa won't have Gaten's 30 pts/game to win anything

In your world, what media types try to derail Fred? The media is in love with the man, his story, and his dreamy blue eyes. I think they like the winning, too.

.

LOL!

--during FreeRents' tenure, the U of I advertised for IOWA FB GAMES:

$40 - four tickets (obviously not hillside)
- four hotdogs
- four Cokes

Fran and Frau Bluder literally GIVE AWAY thousands of tickets in the last two years. BLuder beyond two years

Duke and other elite schools have done this very thing, and the U of Iowa is just another ELITE university that is ahead of the curve

No free tickets were given away. This isn't Wartburg or Kirkwood. Anyway I think I have fed you enough tonight you should probably get back to crawling under your rock.

The SG debate is from the other night when CF was adamant that Gatens would be the 3rd option for ISU at SG.

The Wisconsin comments were in regards to you making fun of them for using while role players and one black player. Their white role players are in the NBA.

Keep up n00b!

LOL!

Obviously, you're incredibly uninformed

Maybe in 1999 or 2000.

I don't see why anyone is surprised at all the free crap Iowa gave away to get students there, they did the same thing two years ago for an ESPN game vs Michigan State when they were a top 10 team.

Referring to the Kirk part...when was that exactly?

Only a month away, I've got a good feeling about pre-tourney time.

Iowa might back-in to some tourney

They play AMAZING Illinois, pasty Northwestern, and snow-white Nebraska

murderers row

oh, and the BIG tourney?

Iowa plays Minnesota possibly, and then winner of Purdue/Nebraska

oooooooooooo!!!!!!! crazy stuff. toughest schedule ever just ask Bob Brooks, who I agree with 100% of the time

Iowa's last three games are the toughest in the country

several years ago, but they had that special from around 1999-2001

not sure when, but I attended a couple games back then.

I remember the Ohio St game @ Kinnick---tons of empty seats---Iowa was just drubbed, and 25,000 people left at halftime to tailgate and get drunk

We left at half it was so boring
