Wisconsin @ Iowa

Update on the SG debate:

Allen: 12.5 ppg, 38.2% FG, 38.9% 3pt, 2.3 RPG, 2.3 APG, 2.1 TO/g
Babb: 8.4 ppg, 37.4 % FG, 33.7% 3pt, 4.3 RPG, 1.8 APG, 0.8 TO/g

Gatens: 15.4 ppg, 48.3% FG, 42.1% 3pt, 3.8 RPG, 1.9 APG, 1.0 TO/g

Clearly, Gatens is in a class below those studs from ISU and is a role player at ISU.

LOL!!!

Look at the rest of the players on the team.

If Iowa wins their next three games and a game in the Big Ten Tournament, they're NCAA worthy. Hawkeyes beat Michigan, IU, + Wisconsin 2X.

Iowa has been more worthy than ISU all year. That 40-pt loss @ Mich St solidified my thoughts

Who here is denying that Gatens is a good player? I don't think he starts at ISU though. Thinking he could replace Babb is hilarious is that what you are LOLLLLLING at?

Convenient that these stats are being collected after back to back career nights for Gatens.

Also, how the hell is Wisconsin ranked #15? Their best two wins are Illinois and Indiana!

I know Chris Babb makes up for it on defense, 'cuz Babb has shut down every Big 12 star he has guarded.

Gatens is on a whole other planet. Matt would go off for like 45 in a row against chris Babb

The only teams that can stop Gatens are slow pasty whte teams like Iniana or wisconsin

Not a Hawk-homer. Don't know why you accused me of that. Just fit with the thread and thought it was worth posting. Chill out

In his world, everyone's a hawk homer. Just embrace it and enjoy the ride. It's a good time.

One of the stranger versions of someone projecting his own denied obsession onto everyone else. Dude only posts about Iowa but sees everyone else as obsessed with them.

Two of those "white role players" are in the NBA right now. I guess their role players are better pros than anyone ISU has come through since Jamaal Tinsley!

LOL!

Even with Leuer that was Taylor's team. And are you saying Greg Stiemsma was anything but a role player at Wisconsin?

Anyway, I was joking in the first place. The J. Taylor and A. Tucker teams followed that statement though.

So having 4 NBA players off the team since since 2008 while making consistent NCAA appearances is something to be ashamed of because they use white players? I suppose ISU's last 5 years are so much more impressive and enjoyable because their team doesn't have as many white guys.

LOL!

Enough with the "LOL." It's straight up trolling. You can make your point without it.

Please don't respond to the KirkwoodONECommunity College and HawkeyeONECommunity College posters on this forum.
Don't feed the trolls please. Let them pretend like they actually go to basketball games at Carver and care when the team is in the toilet.

Does your stomach hurt? You laugh a lot. If you used this enthusiasm towards your fan base maybe you wouldn't need free tickets to get anyone to show up.

And you have to let the students in free against a ranked opponent to actually get people in the stands?

This from ISU's game with #2 Oklahoma State in football. <$10 tickets for football games vs. top 2 teams? Much more pathetic:

AMES, Iowa - Iowa State plays host to No. 2 Oklahoma State Friday at 7 p.m. in Jack Trice Stadium before a national ESPN TV audience in a game with national championship implications. To celebrate this special night the Cyclone Athletics Department is extending several ticket options for Iowa State fans.

Iowa State has extended its $11 reserved ticket special until 7 p.m. Fans can order tickets online at cyclones.com. More than 2,000 such seats were sold on Friday.

In addition the following offers are still available:

The Iowa State Four pack. For $40, fans get four hillside tickets, four sodas and four hot dogs.

The Faculty/Staff appreciation tickets are $10.

Lil Clone Club kids and their parents can sit in reserved seats for this game (first come - first serve basis - select sections). In addition, Lil Clone Club kids can bring a friend to the game free of charge.

Gold towels will be given away to the first 30,000 who enter the game (while supplies last). Gates open 90 minutes before kickoff.

LOL!
