What is getting lost in all this is the play of these 2 players. They are the best playmakers ISU has had in years. In anytime in the last 25 years has ISU had a WR with the ability to run away from Texas defenders?

Don't wanna be "that guy" but next season our offense could be the best its been since Senneca was here. Only 2 offensive starters we lost are Tuftee and Coleman.

I wouldn't even call Tuftee a starter. I bet Lalk takes his place. He just hasn't been healthy.

These two guys mentioned, though, have the juice. Good lord Wimberly runs hard.

1-3 isn't good.

With that said, unless you are a negative nelly, you can see there is a lot to be excited about with this team. They have more talent than we've ever had and it's getting better with experience. Next year should be fun! This year we still have some upsets in us!

Just think, Bundrage is only a RSsoph and Wimberly is a Junior. They are damn fun to watch.
Speaking of Wimberly, he was mowing over the Texas D tonight. He ran over a d-back late in the game and I almost lost it.

I'm not saying "Look ahead to next year," but the fact that these playmakers aren't seniors has to make you feel good about 2014.

Never in the history of ever have we had a player that could run away from Texas defenders. Especially 97-yds

When Wimberly knocked that guy directly onto his butt without blinking and ran on for the 1st down, that's when I finally settled on the fact that he has it. He was just like "o hye, nitenite."

I'm drooling over the receiving corp next year.

Q, of course, is the star. But Tad Ecby is really really solid for a soph. He plays like a senior, runs the right routes, blocks well, holds on to the ball.

Add to that Daley and Harris who are both getting good PT this year, and Quan West.

Then D'Vario Montgomery. And that other guy.

That is a really really really good receiving corp.

That was probably the most impressive run I've seen by an ISU RB in a LONG time. And then he did his 20 yd td run.

Our offense next year has the potential to be the best ISU has ever fielded.

And we are adding a top HS Wide Receiver, and a very good transfer from South Florida.. Offensively we will have firepower.

Add Bibbs in. He made some great plays. We need to get Sam healthy.

Bibbs has really come along. Was good after the catch, too. With Q, Wimberley, the Montgomery transfer, AL, and continued, steady improvement from SR and I think the offensive skill positions are in great shape. At spring practice I was impressed with the upcoming talent on the OL. There are a lot of young guys that are 6'6-6'7, athletic but just need to finish filling out.

Wimberly trucked that guy I thought, hey, this is it! We gonna take these guys. Too eff'n bad stripes have no balls or backbone to make the obvious call.

CB Sam has abilities. Jansen going out hurt (hope his injury is not lingering).
WRs are best we've had... well, since I don't know when. Potential for best ever for sure.
Knott plays like a veteran player. Irving is playing pretty darn well. Coe has come along.

Next year does look to be shaping up well. Still, lot of season left & this team has improved every week. Hope the latter continues.
