Yes, Creighton currently is a Q1 win.

Thru 12/19 games, for ISU:
Quad 1: Xavier, Iowa, Creighton
Quad 2: Memphis
Quad 3: The empty set
Quad 4: And the rest (7-0)

Memphis will get back up there into quad 1. ISU will have one of the best non con resume's in the country. Which is why they could possible be 7-11 or 8-10 and still go to the tournament and with a packed Hilton and good defense I think they can win almost any home game.

7 wins with one being BU or KU should do it, right? Between that the Big 12 crushing it, the number of conference wins needed has gone down.

Safe to say whatever the record ends up being, they'll be one the best teams with that record. Say 20-11 (7-11), but still top-35.

Someone posted Iowa's schedule. Wow, we'd be a near lock and likely looking at a better seed. There's also the element that teams that win tend to get on a roll and elevate their play.

We have two different 14's and two different 35's hanging in the rafters. Four players, two numbers.
So basically retiring a jersey means your hangings a jersey on the rafters? More of a symbolic gesture. Seems that all jerseys are retired after said player is done playing...they don't recycle jerseys.

A good one this week, even though CW was out. A lot of stuff on the plate.

Jared and Brent were discussing whether the number 28 or 15 should just be quietly retired, and both said it probably should because wearing it is too much pressure on the person who puts it on.

What I'd like to see them do is not retire them, but make them available to a running back or quarterback after they are named All-American. It honors the players and the number that way.
I'd actually love this idea. I don't think anyone else does something like that. We could use the number 11 for our high level point guards too since we have that running with Tinsley, Morris, and now Hunter.

LSU football does something kind of like this with the #18. They award it to a player each year who has earned it. It's a big deal to wear 18 for LSU. We could make that the same for 15 or 28 (or 11 in hoops or whatever) here.

ISU sort of did this with Chris Street's number. Someone from the state of Iowa always wore it until Johnny retired.
