Very unlikely unless we have a few more years of this type of success. Even then I'm not sure.
Recruits? Not any time soon. Can we develop a team of players that can compete with Oklahoma? We just did.
2 years in a row with great success. Doesn’t seem it matters as far as getting any big time athletes. Hope I’m wrong.
Not on the DL where programs like OU, tOSU, Bama, etc eat up all few studs that are out there every year.
I'll take our guys every day of the week. They are already elite athletes.
I would rather have 3's and 4s willing to work their asses off instead of 5* prima donnas coming in and thinking all they have to do is show up.
The right kids working with the right coaches work out very well. That is what is happening in Ames.

Our rivalry with OU since the Kyle Kempt game in Norman is better than Texas and OSU. Let’s just keep having these epic battles because talent is only one part of the equation.

Agree, ou has some advantages when we play, we have some, athletes aren’t the issue. Last 4 years all the games are dead even. We already have the athletes
I think this is the issue. You need to find better recruits, but not good enough that they come in with the attitude that they're above coaching and discipline.
Honestly Oklahoma is not that far from our guys. Now Alabama is way far out in front of our guys talent wise. However they also have a ton that leave early so it evens the field a little more
We are definitely competitive with OU now. I never thought I would say that.
Gonna have to be a Wisconsin or K-State type of program that has a schtick and occasional years where it all 'fits' and greatness is close.
