Will There be a Policy Change?

You can't be serious. I would guess Barnes would start on just about any team in the country right now. You seriously can't think him practicing with us didn't make us better.
Harrison practicing with the team only helped Harrison. You don't think our players are given the chance to play against top talent in the off season. Kinda remember Lucca playing with the German National team this season, and Craig going over seas also. There's avenues for college players in the off season where high schoolers are usually playing AAU ball, or if they can BS a local college by leading them on, get time on the court with D1 players. Basketball is a team sport that probably demands more cohesiveness than any other sport so it does our team no good playing with a kid who won't be part of it. The time he spent on our courts would have much better served one of our own. Him playing with the team did about as much good as our players playing in the Cap City League. Difference being, when a kid playing for Drake gives one of our own a workout they generally go back to the facilities in which they made a commitment.

For anyone who didn't watch Sound Off it sounds like there will be no policy changes with regards to Barnes using the facilities or what have you. I could go either way on it, but GMac is obviously a man of integrity and I respect that.

I'm guessing that there won't be quite the welcome wagon when or if Barnes decides to show up. We'll see if his ego likes that or not. I also think our players have a good season ahead of them, so I don't know that playing a lot of pickup basketball with someone who could mess with the team chemistry is a good idea.

And letting him in there has nothing to do with GMac's integrity. It has to do with him being a good person and being the bigger person after someone you have treated very well treats you very badly.
