Will some guys opt from bowl game?

A couple should.

as much as theyve given us fans, if someone like Breece or Charlie or Will or Enyi sits out an exhibition game, I won’t be disappointed.

Probably everyone will play unless it gets out of hand though.
I don't mind if the players sit out, but it is not an exhibition game. Bowl Games count in the school, coaching and player records / stats. If the game didn't count in the record book, then it would be an exhibition game.

Absolutely. Why risk it for a meaningless bowl game.
I think it's as meaningful as any other game - still counts against our record

if your argument is that it's pointless because we're not in the playoff or something, then really the entire cfb season is pointless outside of like the teams with perennial top 10 recruiting classes every year (and the three games in january)

the reason people watch and play the game is because of the competition and I think the bowl game has as much if not more meaning then a regular season game

Do some of you guys even pay attention? Guys like Rose and Kolar chose to come back for another season even though they had the same buzz/accolades about NFL potential after last year. These guys are all TEAM first players and barring injury, I will be surprised if any of them skip the bowl game.

I think there's a good chance Hall will opt out, and I personally think he probably should. I think fans should be appreciative and grateful if he does play rather than angry or upset if he doesn't.

I just think this trend makes zero sense. Why not opt-out now (if it's about preserving draft stock and not getting injured)?

The TCU game matters equally or less than the bowl game at this point (and honestly the Oklahoma game really didn't matter all things considered -- we aren't going to like a much different bowl if we win that game).

Sitting out an in-season game is VERY different then an exhibition game a month later.

I fully support whatever decision the players make about their futures. And my guess is that Campbell would too. It looks good for the program overall if guys are getting drafted.

How is it an "exhibition game?" It still counts against our overall W/L record for the season. It's not like the game "doesn't count."

If players want to quit that's fine, but I personally think it makes no sense. I would have left after the Fiesta bowl last year if NFL was my top priority.

Hope they do, exhibition game, let's get our guys that will be around next year some experience.

This exhibition game non sense came from Iowa fans last year bc ISU made a NY6 bowl game for first time ever...Then suddenly it's an exhibition game for first time in modern college football era? ********..

Not to bash on you CW bc I love you..lol...but on radio CW and Blum saying "Exhibition" doesnt help.

Playing "Longwood" in bball is an exhibition that does not count for record...Playing Oregon in Fiesta bowl is not even in same category.

These kids practice for 3 weeks and practice for 3 weeks preparing for 1 game..

We've had 50 years+ of college football bowl games and suddenly they are all "exhibitions"?

How hell would you feel as a player who worked butt off all year and you get rewarded with a bowl game, trophies, rings, gifts etc.. and fans and media start calling it just an "Exhibition"...

Ridiculous.
