Wigginton declaring for NBA Draft, not hiring agent

I really find it weird that Lindell is not communicating with ISU staff about this. It is almost scary to hear that. What does that tell you even if he comes back? That he is not fully invested in his team at ISU and that he is a ME ME ME person?

i think it just means he's a young kid trying to make the most important decision of his life to this point.

That's not the case at all. Several reports have said he talks to Prohm nearly daily. All CW said is Iowa State doesn't know of his decision yet. That is probably because Lindell doesn't know his decision yet.

Chris didn't say Lindell isn't talking to the ISU staff at all... he's just saying Lindell hasn't told them with certainty what he will choose to do. I would think/hope Lindell talks to the staff to get their thoughts and to talk about the upcoming season if he were to return (without pressuring either way)

Just checking in, making sure you cats are doing ok.

The way some of you are handling this makes me worried how you will handle real problems in your own life. SMH

Totally agree, but I will say this feels like a significant moment for the basketball team's future. There are a lot of teams out there with good histories that struggle with rebuilds. Last year wasn't enjoyable, but for the most part it was understandable. However, if you languish around the bottom 1/3rd of the Big 12 for too long you lose all the momentum the last 5-6 years got us. That's why next year is so important to reestablish ourselves, and with Lindell we have a great shot at doing that. Without him, boy those transfers are going to have to be really darn good.

Or, and this is a big or (it really isn't), that he isn't doing it for himself and he wants to provide for his family. You know, like a lot of upper tier athletes do.

Come on. This is ISU. We don't loot. We burn couches.

True. It's going to be a tough go for me either way. I live out of state, in B1G country, so when someone asks me why I'm burning a couch, I'll have to repeat 'I-O-WA State' from my explanation, when they confuse it for OSU.

Just like at the bars for a game watch. Jerks.

Sources are telling me Wigginton ate Wheaties this morning while watching NBA TV on his new Medicom cable account, FWIW.
