Yea, I miss the abundance of 8, 9, and 10 win seasons we had around here.
What is with spoiled Cyclone fans that forgot the Walden years...or even the Chizik years? This kind of thinking got us to this point. Mac's 4 bowls in 6 years apparently wasn't enough for us, so now we're back to the the embarrassment we were because we believed that good was the enemy of great.
I just want bowl games, that's quite enough at Iowa State given our lack of football tradition, our location, our weather, and our 47,000 seat stadium.
Loney moved around the NFL because of coaching changes. Getting picked up right away by a new team is a sign of a good coach.

You don't need to be a great recruiter to land our usual 1-3 star players. Besides, I loves me some under rated - chip on the shoulder - kick the tar out of everything that moves - type of player.
