I said this in another thread, but UK's defense was a big reason for that low percentage. It was really difficult to get open looks. We did miss a few open shots, but I don't think it was just us being cold.

ISU's 3 point percentage: 13.6% (3-22)
Kentucky's 3 point percentage: 50.0% (10-20)
easy. Kentucky is better,
the end.
did u hear kalipari at half? ill paraphrase but it was something like we are a good 3 pt shooting team. we just don't shoot many because we usually dominate inside. Whether true or not, its an arrogant statement.
A guard, even a point guard, needs to have the capability of faceing up to and shooting over a defender, when needs be.
Many of the three shots were short.I thought there were a lot of good looks, with our feet square and Allen , McGee and Scotty just bricking. Allen had a couple head scratchers but the looks were open. Also missed some bunnies.
Assuming ESPN hasn't updated their stats, Kentucky is shooting 38.3% on the year to our ending percentage of 37.2%. They're better at shooting the 3.They are but they're not better at 3's. Just tonight.
ISU lost because they played a better team. Kentucky is awesome.
