Whose Interested in a Charter Bus???

Would you be intersted in taking a charter bus to Tempe?

So I have 38 people that have voted yes on here but only one has sent me a PM with there info. Lets get this thing rolling Cyclones so we can be in full force down in Tempe!!!

I think we will leave the evening of the 29th as that seems what I've got from most of the feedback I have received from craigslist and a few here. Therefore it's $225/person

I agree, we need to get this set up ASAP. btw where did you post your ad at on craigslist? I tried looking for it to send to people.
 
so this bus trip would be a non-stop drive to tempe? What is your current count as of now? another question, this is the trip to tempe to and from game and back home. So we are responsible on our own for game tickets and hotel, and where is pick up to go to the game - would I have to book with a certain hotel?

Yes this is a non-stop charter bus to Tempe. Right now I have 7 or 8 firm commitments with about 10-15 that are on the fence so we have a long way to go if we want to get this thing going. We have 41 yes votes on this thread but only a couple of my firm commitments have come from this site so not sure where the other 30+ are. The bus will drop us off at the airport in Phoenix and then everybody is responsible for getting there own hotel and game ticket. They did offer to take us to the game also so I would assume in order to do that we would all meet back at the airport the morning of the game to get on the bus. Pick up and drop off will be in Des Moines. Will get a firm answer on exact location w/some parking for everybody when I get enough people signed up.
 
kudos to cyforlyfe for taking the time and energy to set something up to provide another option to get fans to the game. It is easy to come out here and complain about costs.

Here's someone who is actually doing something about it rather than just talking. Here, here!
 
also when is expected arrival time??

so this is the breakdown..
leave the evening of the 29th.. get there evening or so of the 30th.. then head home morning of the 2nd? correct?
 
Bump.....

Lets fill this thing up folks! Have had a lot of interest in the overnight hours. Still wondering where all 42 of the yes votes are at as I've only gotten about 5 commits from this board and the rest have come from work and craigslist.

Edit: If you didn't know this already the weather in Tempe is far better than it is here in Iowa this time of year :wink:
