Who will be our Offensive Coordinator?

the new offensive coordinator maybe a young rascal,but i think that he
would make one good offensive coordinator-my vote goes to major applesauce -who is the oc and quarterback coach at rice. if you don't know who major applesauce is ,he is major applewhite who played qb for the texas longhorns. he may be young, but he has done one helluva job at rice.

Not to mention one of the best (if not the best) "true" QB's in the history of the big 12.

I still wonder how much money Chrissy Simms dad paid to keep him the starter over the Major.

Just curious as to why you feel this way?

He coached a number of OL who found their way to the NFL and paved the way for eight straight thousand yard rushers at ISU. His 2000 offense featuring Sage, Ennis Haywood, J.J. Moses & Lane Danielson was one of the most productive ever at ISU. He did yeoman work for us...

Having said all this, it's highly unlikely that he'll return; I'm sure he's making tall cash as an NFL coach and not likely to take a pay cut to around $200K...

I agree on Applewhite. Mac Mcwhorter - Texas' Oline coach would also be a thought.

We need someone who can spot a running back when they see one. We had one for the last 3 years and none of our coaches saw him untill the last 2 games of the season....how good would RK have been with the right opportunities????
