Who is SEC #14?

I think it has to be WVU. Not only would they expand their footprint and the state loves that team. You also have to admit that those fans belong in the south.... redneck.

I believe they prefer the term "Appalachian-American."

Y'all are getting your derogatory terms mixed up. Appalachian Americans is the politically correct term for Hillbillies. Don't know of an equivalent for rednecks. The Hillbillies would be more correct for West Virginia, it's the folks that live out in the hills of appalachia and the ozarks. Rednecks are more generic rural farmers, the term comes from working the fields all day, getting sun burnt on the back of their necks.

I think they are stuck with 13 for the near future. Sounding more and more like the BE has their legs back under them and have no intention of letting anyone (including PIT/SYR) out for the next 2+ season.

Oh Mizzou... Bragging about the hot chick they slept with before it even happened. Lesson #2!

+1

Mizzou: "We're joining the Big 10."
Big 10: "We want a Big XII team but would prefer the mullet wearing Cornholers over you."

Mizzou: "The SEC wants us to join them."
SEC: "What are you smoking???"

But no one has explained how scheduling a 13 team conference works. It is a lot harder than it sounds, because not only do you have to figure out how to make everyone play every one in their division but you also have to make sure it is a "fair" scheduling solution.

use a regular schedule for the real SEC schools and make A&M play everyone in the conference so then everyone gets their 12 games. seems fair to me

If I were them I'd get FSU and call it good.

The trouble with adding FSU is that it could end up costing them Florida. Florida is the more attractive program and wants nothing to do with being in the same conference as FSU. If Florida were to go shopping, they would have their pick of any conference in the nation - including the B1G who would jump at the chance to add an elite program in a prime recruiting area.

Or the other possibility is.....SEC goes back down to XII with A&M staying in Big XII due to litigation threats (Baylor) and Big XII reigning in TX to their liking.

We need to fire Beebee and now. Leadership is needed.
