I played in a HS football game at JTS on the old concrete turf the year of the big flood in Ames (Fall 93 or 94). Ames High's field was under water, so we got to play at Cyclone Stadium.

I've stormed the field several times over the years but I've actually spent a little time on the turf for other reasons too. Was out there for a few turf classes over the years. There is an amazing amount of work that goes into the maintenance of the turf not just during the week mowing, etc.. but before and after games. They do an amazing job there.
I've been in the scoreboard. In every room in the press box and even on top several times (great place during the 4th of July fireworks). All over/under/around the Jake, Olsen, and Bergstrom.
